I kind of struggled with this prompt. I could do all sorts of things. Some ideas that crossed my mind: use my oldest polish (but with what technique?) or attempt my first and oldest nail art (really not feeling the watermarble today). Then it hit me: I was toying with the idea of getting a thick grey streak in my hair. As early as middle school, I played with highlights and fun colors and even a year ago I sported orange and blue! But, the condition of my hair while growing out the Pixie took priority and I stopped bleaching it.

When people get old, their hair gets grey…I love grey hair, if maintained properly it looks so chic!

It was so frigidly cold outside due to wind chilld and my RA flared up so I stuck with some RA-friendly nail art: the waterfall manicure!

I hope you like it!

Black and White Waterfall Nail Art | The Rite of Aging

I started with Wet n Wild Black Creme as my base. I searched and searched for this polish because I started running low on my current bottle. I finally found it at my CVS! It was always out of stock and now I know why, they re-vamped the polish bottle. Even so, I bought two just in case!

I detailed with Milani Color Statement Spotlight White, Barry M Gelly Chai, Nails inc. LONDON Foubert’s Place, and Essie On a Silver Platter.
