I am grateful…

…I can still work, even if it is only part-time.

…I still have full mental capability

…I found blogging/vlogging

…I can still walk (sometimes)

…I can still rock-climb (occasionally)

…I can still care for my pets

…I can afford private insurance

& it covers all my specialists/PTs/rehabs

…for continuity of care and access to the best doctors

…for access to all my meds

…for never having trouble filling a prescription

& never been treated as an addict or drug seeker

…for my family who supports me through the harder times

& those who try to understand what I am going through

…for not bothering with the ones who don’t

Rheumatoid Arthritis changed my life. Maybe not for the better and probably for the worse but, it’s made me so much more thankful for the little things I took for granted before it.

Hi, my name is Monica and I have RA.
