Wow…I just realized I only used OPI polishes from the 2016 Washington DC Fall collection! Total coincidence but the colors were perfect for today’s look.
I always struggle with animal print prompts. As it is, I am not the biggest fan of them in art so I guess the challenges lies with what I think looks good on the nail. This year, I stretched the prompt to animal footprints! Because…they are technically an animal’s prints…right??
I am not too keen on this look — the stamp is too big for my nails but it is what it is and I move on.

Now coming to your blog after first seeing these on IG — I was going to say I think the animal prints are just the right size, but you didn’t like them. It’s so funny the expectations we have for things on ourselves, but on others think they look just fine. 😉 In any case – your saran wrap base is the perfect backdrop for these animal foot-prints!!

Heheh…I know! I think we have higher expectations for ourselves than others have of us. That sounds kind of awful but you know what I mean…
Of course, I found tiny tiny animal footprints on a MoYou London Festive plate but I think those would have been too small! ….OMG. I just remembered I have a super old plate I don’t even remember where it’s from with the perfect size paw prints. Darn!!!
