The only thing I could think about was Scooby-Doo but I’ve already done a couple of Scooby inspired manicures so I had to think of something different.
Quite a few people already did cartoon nails but I decided to give it a try. This is my first attempt and I think they came out pretty well! I knicked my middle finger while it was drying and I couldn’t bring myself to re-do it. I actually re-did most of my nails because the orange kept smearing!
😦
I am not really a fan on this nail art on me. It makes my nails look shorter which in turn accentuates the current swelling in my fingers. I tried to manipulate the angle so you could not see the swelling. Regardless, I think it is a super cute look so I will try again when I am not in the middle of a flare and my nails are longer.
I used 2 coats of Color Club Twiggie and Milani Peacock as my base.
I stamped with Color Club Wham! Pow! and Bundle Monster plate BM 311.
I used Milani Black Swift and butter London Cotton Buds for the other detailing.

(The more I look at this manicure, the more I think it is a fail…I like the idea behind it but the stamping makes the entire look messy. I think my index finger came out the best though…I don’t know…I will definitely revisit this manicure)

The first thing that came to mind was Star Trek! I decided to go with a simple freehand design and pull out one of my favorite polishes from the cobwebs!
I used 1 coat of Milani Black Swift as my base before adding a generous coat of butter London The Black Knight. I adore this polish. It is a galaxy in a bottle! I haven’t worn this nail color in months and I don’t know why! I thinned the formula with Zoya Renew. It is still thick but it self-levels with one coat. LOVE.
I used Sally Hansen Triple Shine Slick Black on my ring finger before free-handing the Star Trek logo with Essie No Place Like Chrome.

I always had a tendency to day-dream and doodle in the side margins of my school notes, haven’t done it in a while but it was a great time-killer!
My freehand skills are still pretty messy but I think that adds to the “doodle” idea!
I used 2 coats of butter London Cotton Buds as my base.
I used Milani Sugar High on my pinky.
I “doodled” with Urban Outfitters Blue Velvet, American Apparel Parakeet, and Sephora by OPI I Come in Peas.

Playing catch-up for the next few days. Worst flare in a year, could barely walk let alone work a nail polish brush 🙂 Hopefully I will be caught up in a few days.
For this theme, I also incorporated the Crumpet’s Tri-Polish Tuesday manicure!
I used 2 coats of Nails Inc. Foubert’s Place as my base.
I dotted with Color Club Mrs. Robinson and I stamped with Milani Dark Coffee and Bundle Monster plate BM 322.

I do not have the biggest sweet tooth but I love eating chocolate-covered strawberries around Valentine’s Day! I have no preference between white or milk chocolate…they are both good to me! 🙂
I do not own a true red so I layered a couple of layers of OPI Do You Think I’m Tex-y? over OPI Red Lights Ahead…Where?.
I added “strawberry seeds” with a cuticle stick and Color Club Almost Famous and Sephora by OPI Ms. Can’t Be Wrong.
I drizzled with Milani Dark Coffee and butter London Cotton Buds.
I hope you enjoy!

I was too tired to re-do my manicure last night so I am playing catch up today. I am beyond annoyed with this flare because my stamping goes out the window!!
I tried to salvage my nails by applying layers and layers of glitter 😛
I used 2 coats of butter London Cotton Buds as my base.
I then marbled with Orly Bonder and China Glaze Caribbean Temptation.
I stamped with Konad Special Polish in Black and Bundle Monster plate BM-317.
I added a generous coat of Zoya Kissy and Milani Hot Pink to cover the poor stamping. I like how I can still see the stamping and marbling under it!
