I do not usually do blue polishes but I am really feeling them right now!

A generous coat of Zoya Maria Luisa on all fingers except ring.

I used a large dotting tool on the middle of each nail with Essie No Place Like Chrome.

Sponged the tips with Zoya Crystal and Sinful Colors Nail Junkie.

Arctic Brrrrr! The good thing about walking dogs in the cold is they enjoy the cold even less than I do and they take as little time as possible to do their business! Woot!

I went with something simple today. Apologies on the horrendous photo…I could not for the life of me find good lighting or snap a good photo (not sure why but it came out really grainy) 😦

I really like the manicure so I decided to post it anyways!

3 coats Zoya Crystal as my base.

I dabbed a generous amount of Sephora by OPI Jewelry Top Coat Lights, Glammer-A, Action! on the tips and a little down the middle of the nail.

I “sugar-spun” with Julie G White Orchid and Essie No Place Like Chrome.

Ohhh boy. My blogging hiatus:

After I got out of the hospital, I felt awful.

Then New Year’s came around. I hate New Year’s. This is the depressive part of me because why celebrate the start of a new year when the last two years have really sucked? Thankfully, that mood has passed since the 1st!

And the best part! I started working at the animal clinic again and I got an awful cold/dry burn on my hands and three nails broke! I could not even file them down they just broke all the way down in the corners so I had to wait for them to grow back. I would love to say I can finally start painting my nails again!

Unfortunately, while my nails are finally healthy again, my skin is not. I have tried everything to get rid of the patches and to no avail! So I apologize, in advance, for any discoloration on my hands!

I wanted to go with a subtle color shift so I sponged with similar shades.

2 coats Milani Black Cherry as my base.

I used Zoya Cheryl and Sephora by OPI 212-Sephora to sponge on top.

A very sheer coat of Zoya Maria Luisa but it is totally packed with gold flakes!

I thought I had posted this and turns out I never did!! Yikes!!

“Don’t you feel lazy when you have to sleep most of the day or rest?”

Well, the silver is right in there. You may feel lazy for taking a rest day and will not take one, while I can take one and not feel bad about it!

Sure, this is different from playing hooky from work to watch the game at a bar, or sky-diving, or taking time off work to do something fun. I cannot do anything too physical. But, so what? I get to lay in bed, read, Netflix, watch movies, and sleep!

And that sounds like a pretty good day to me!
