I do not have a lot of untrieds. Definitely no “high-end” ones because I run home and open every bottle of polish. I do want to take part in the challenge so I will participate as I can. I decided to kill two birds with one stone (hehe) and make this my NAIL submission as well.

I think I stretched the rules thin. I used an untried, but I used a lot of other ones as well. Initially I just wanted to “water-color” with the new polish but it barely showed up so I sugar-spun as well.

Untried: Rimmel London “Reggae Splash”

I used 2 coats butter London Tea with the Queen as my base.

I water-colored with Nails Inc. Sprinkles Sweets Way and Rimmel London Reggae Splash.

I stamped with Wet n Wild Black Creme and Bundle Monster plate BM 315. My stamping did not smudge!!!

I sugar-spun with the Rimmel London polish.

It’s no surprise I love stamping snowflakes…most of my winter manicures featured a snowflake or two!

I had a snow day today (hopefully the last) and as a final hurrah before I retire my winter designs, I present my last Snowflake manicure for the NAILinkup!

ImageAs my base I used 2 coats of Zoya Dream and 1 coat of Sinful Colors Nail Junkie.

I stamped with Bundle Monster plate BM 323, 319, Konad Special Polish White, and Essie No Place Like Chrome.

I did a relatively laid back manicure for the Crumpet’s Golden Oldies Challenge (Facebook Group: Crumpet’s Nail Tarts) I am in all sorts of discomfort right now. There is increased inflammation in my spine and it is effecting everything.

I am taking a couple days from the Nail-Art-A-Go-Go challenge. I have a really good ideas for the last couple of prompts but I am lacking the dexterity for the moment. I’m really upset I won’t finish on time but I have to accept the flare-ups that come with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Fast, simple design for now but hopefully I will be up and running again soon. I hope you enjoy it!

 

ImageI started with 2 coats of Urban Outfitters Westside as my base.

I sponged with Zoya Gwin, Color Club Wham! Pow! and Cult Nails Captivated.

I stamped with Bundle Monster plate BM 308 and Color Club Wham! Pow!. Some of the points in the design did not transfer properly so I added a little sponging to blur the edges.

I am finally caught up and I have to say this is my favorite prompt so far. I love snow manicures, they are just so sparkly!

My inspiration was snow on Evergreen trees. Enjoy!

I started with 2 coats of Zoya Giovanna as my base. I sponged a little Zoya Suvi for a multi-dimensional look.

I stamped with Bundle Monster plate BM 319 and Essie No Place Like Chrome. 

I sponged with Zoya Crystal and Essie On a Silver Platter.

I know who the famous train wreck celebrities are, I watch the popular shows, I listen to pop music, I keep up with the latest trends…however, I’ve never been one to “follow” said popularities…except in the beauty world.

Right now the biggest color trend is rose-gold! I planned on a simple manicure with a little sponging and realized I do not own a single rose-gold polish since most shades appear chalky on me.

I was completely hung up on this idea so I decided on literal rose gold!! Hehehe…granted, this has nothing to do with the color but I still love how it came out! I am really happy with my stamping!

I was too tired to re-do my manicure last night so I am playing catch up today. I am beyond annoyed with this flare because my stamping goes out the window!!

I tried to salvage my nails by applying layers and layers of glitter 😛

I used 2 coats of butter London Cotton Buds as my base.

I then marbled with Orly Bonder and China Glaze Caribbean Temptation.

I stamped with Konad Special Polish in Black and Bundle Monster plate BM-317.

I added a generous coat of Zoya Kissy and Milani Hot Pink to cover the poor stamping. I like how I can still see the stamping and marbling under it!

Finally caught up!

I decided to go colors that sort of clashed. There are so many wallpapers I look at and wonder why they exist, just because of the color scheme!

I used 2 coats of Zoya Payton as my base.

I stamped with Konad Special Polish in Gold and Bundle Monster plate BM-312.

I was surprised by the Konad polish. I kept the bald spots from Payton and used gold to stamp because I wanted a faded look but it stamped very nicely!
