I hope you enjoy my manicure for this week’s prompt (FingerFood’s Theme Buffet linked here)!

I hope you enjoy! I apologize for the stamping on my pinky finger. I smudged the design when I ran the stamper over it. I tried to save it by adding more red marble.

 

ImageI used 2 coats of butter London Cotton Buds and 1 coat of Sinful Colors All About You as my base.

I stamped with Konad Special Polish in Black and MoYou London plate 09 (Princess Collection).

I marbled with Orly Bonder and Milani Foxy Lady.

Spring Renewal Nail Art Challenge Day 2: Pastels

Here is my manicure for the second day of the Spring Renewal Nail Art Challenge hosted by Jessica at Be Happy and Buy Polish. (Facebook group linked here)

I wanted to go with true pastels but I decided to incorporate my love of neon coral to make the lighter shades pop.

 

ImageI used 3 coats of Sephora by OPI Cover Me in Petals as my base.

I sugar spun horizontally with Milani Peacock and Urban Outfitters Westside. 

I sugar spun vertically with Rimmel London Reggae Splash which is no longer an un-tried!

 

I think the Rimmel London polish is more muted and orange than the Urban Outfitters but as a sugar-spun they look nearly identical. The Rimmel polish is also more sheer than the Urban Outfitters.

I will never say no to an over-flowing bowl of mint chocolate chip ice cream. Since I am craving it like mad it was the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw this week’s prompt.

…I added sugar-spun, because, well, ice cream has sugar? Do I need an excuse to use this technique??

I love how the brown dried, it really reminds me of chocolate chips/chocolate sauce.

I rarely show my thumb on the blog but I love the drizzle so I decided to include a picture.

ImageI used 2 coats Milani Mint Chip, 1 coat Milani Sugar High and 1 coat Serum No 5 Happy Special Day! as my base. (I realized if I had used my black and white Milani glitter I would have had a complete GOT manicure, but I was feeling something more colorful)

I drizzled with Milani Dark Coffee.

GOT Polish Challenge: Pastels

I lied, I own pastels…and I have owned them for over a year! They are more muted and less bright so I never really considered them pastels..odd, right?

Anyways, I love my Urban Outfitters polish. It is my most used polish of all time. It makes my skin tone look perfect and glow-y. However, the addition of the other polishes dull its gloriousness. It appears less tan-inducing and more neon (check out my favorite winter polishes here for an idea of how it looks on its own!)

Wow, I am just making up phrases left and right aren’t I? On that note…

I “nimbus-ed” with Milani Peacock and Mint Chip.

I hope you like my blues! I am really loving the Sinful Colors glitter topper!! …And how great these colors look together!

 

ImageI used two coats of Milani Peacock as my base.

I striped with Wet n Wild Blue Moon and nimbus-ed lightly with Zoya Dream before adding a coat of Seche Vite to protect it.

I finished with one coat of Sinful Colors Nail Junkie.

Can I have a thing? I love Sugar-Spun and Picasso Swirl…okay, two things. I love these techniques and I always love the outcomes!

For this week’s FingerFood Theme (freestyle) I tried a plaid/criss-cross sugar-spin…I also experimented with mixing the colors together…I hope you like it!

I used 2 coats Sephora by OPI Metro Chic, 1 coat butter London Knackered, and a generous coat of Milani Sugar High as my base.

I sugar-spun with Milani Peacock and Sephora by OPI Go My Own Way.

ImageI used 3 coats of Cult Nails Deal With It and 1 sheer coat of Milani Twinkle as my base.

I first dotted with Urban Outfitters Blue Velvet (blue) and Color Club Mrs. Robinson (purple) before sugar spinning with the opposite.

While the dots do not always show up I love how they sometimes peek through.
