I hope you like my green ombre nails for the OMD2 challenge!

 

DSCF0326_fotorFrom pinky to ring finger: Revlon Gel Envy High Stakes, Deborah Lippmann Defying Gravity, Milani Mint Chip, Sephora by OPI It’s Totally Karma.

I stamped the decal with Konad Special Polish Black and Bundle Monster plate BM 303. I used a dotting tool, Milani Mint Chip, Formula X for Sephora Thrilling to fill in the empty spaces straight onto the stamper. I used Seche Vite to seal in the design.

GOT Challenge: Yellow (Roses)

It has been a while since I last took part in the Golden Oldies challenge but when I saw this past Thursday’s prompt, I had the perfect polish in mind!

Since I used a year old polish I decided to try a new technique: stamping decals. I am pretty happy with how this came out. I stamped the yellow roses and painted black and white right onto the stamper.

I hope you like it!

I stamped the roses with MoYou London plate 09 (Pro Collection). I painted Wet n Wild Black Creme and butter London Cotton Buds straight onto the stamper and sealed it with Seche Vite.

During the Bundle Monster challenge, I played with sugar-spun and glitter. I thought it came out really well so I re-visited them for this prompt as well.

I hope you like it! I think it’s fun and bright. It reminds me of cake frosting!

July really has been a month of firsts! My first French manicure, soon to be my first dots within dots, and my first Ikat nails!

I actually really liked how these came out…I was nervous about doing these hence the 7 day wait! But, they were surprising easy!

I hope you like them!

I sealed the base with Seche Vite and detailed with Sephora by OPI Metro Chic, Wet n Wild Black Creme and Julie G White Orchid.

This was my first attempt at French tips! I almost chickened out and did a simple glitter gradient but  I plucked up my courage, striping tape and gave it a go!

As I feared, this manicure was incredibly unforgiving…this is my first French tips so please go easy on me!

I started with 3 coats of China Glaze In the Limelight and 1 coat of Zoya Opal as my base.

I sponged Serum No. 5 Forest Lights on the tips.

For the French tips, I used striping tape and Julie G White Orchid.

I am so behind at this point! I want to stay in order as I catch up but I am at a loss for the “Ikat” design so I am jumping around a little…to abstract! (Surprise, surprise!)

I loved the “distressed” look I did way back when for the Theme Buffet, linked here so I re-visited it today except with warm-color neons.
