It’s no surprise I love stamping snowflakes…most of my winter manicures featured a snowflake or two!

I had a snow day today (hopefully the last) and as a final hurrah before I retire my winter designs, I present my last Snowflake manicure for the NAILinkup!

Enjoy!

ImageAs my base I used 2 coats of Zoya Dream and 1 coat of Sinful Colors Nail Junkie.

I stamped with Bundle Monster plate BM 323, 319, Konad Special Polish White, and Essie No Place Like Chrome.

I have NOOO idea what I was going for with this manicure. I kept on layering glitters until I liked the final product!

ImageI started glitter from the get-go with my one of my favorites – 2 coats of butter London The Black Knight.

On my index and pinky I used Milani Hot Pink, Serum No 5 Happy Special Day!, Fallen and Sephora by OPI Be-Claus I Said So.

On my middle and ring I used Sephora by OPI Come to Pappa-razzi!, Zoya Maria Luisa, Formula X for Sephora Bombshell, and Serum No 5 Happy Special Day!.

NAIL Feb. Theme Three: Gradient

butter London, Cult Nails, Milani, Nail Art Ideas Linkup, Seche Vite, Zoya

This constant spine pain has me running behind on everything. I love the NAIL themes (hosted by Craftynail, Brijit’s Digits and Eeeek! Nail Polish!) for February and I wanted to get to them, even if they were super late.

Have you noticed I like my sugar-spun? I love the Picasso Swirl just as much. I tried it again, after a long hiatus, during the Nail-Art-A-Go-Go challenge and still have it on my mind! I also wanted to give my neglected polishes a little love.

ImageI used 1 coat butter London Cotton Buds as my base. I used 1 coat of Seche Vite to protect it.

I used a toothpick to create a Picasso Swirl gradient with Zoya Suvi, Milani Key West, and Cult Nails Deal With It (order from cuticles to tips).

Why did this Cult Nails polish get left in the dust? It is so vibrant and happy and NEON! I will try to use this baby a little more.

I have never been huge on Valentine’s Day but I do love the color schemes!

Since my stamping and freehand detailing were shot during this flare, I used the sponging technique. I LOVE LOVE LOVE HOW THIS CAME OUT.

It kind of reminds me of galaxies!

Image

I used 2 coats of Chanel Gondola as my base.

I sponged with Zoya Reece, Color Club Warhol, Sinful Colors Secret Admirer and China Glaze Caribbean Temptation.

Eeep! I hope you enjoy this manicure as much as I do!

Here is my submission for the first week of NAIL, hosted by Craftynail, Brijit’s Digits, and Eeeek! Nail Polish!

For this week’s challenge I grabbed my red polishes, some brushes, and just messed around.

I hope you like it!

Image

I used 3 coats of my favorite red, Sephora by OPI Mr. Right Now, as my base.

For the detailing I used American Apparel Neon Red, Zoya Reece and Sephora by OPI Be-Claus I Said So.

Color Club, freehand, Julie G, Nail Art Ideas Linkup, OPI, Sephora by OPI

I love this theme! I will probably do a couple more because I may have an unhealthy addiction to Pinterest (which I can never spell or say correctly!)

This manicure is inspired by Let Them Have Polish’s Cling-Wrap Skittle Manicure! (seen here)

Enjoy!

While Cristina cling-wrapped the entire look, I actually sponged the colors underneath before cling-wrapping the white. I also dabbed on a glitter topper to unify the look.

Polishes Used

  • Color Club Almost Famous, Wham! Pow!, Pucci-licious, Warhol
  • Sephora by OPI It’s Totally Karma, I Come in Peas
  • Julie G White Orchid
  • OPI Polka.com

NAIL Jan. Theme One: Health & Wellness

Given my life has been swallowed whole by thoughts of health and wellness, you would think I’d be all over this NAIL challenge…but somehow, I was totally at a loss.

Sure, there are the pills, needles, IVs and good diet…I could go on!  But I just could not think of any ideas. So, I tried a different approach  to inspiration:

Over the past year I’ve felt loads better. What is different? (apart from the meds)

Water.

Oral medications sit in the stomach and are rarely fully digested. I drink a lot more water just to flush out my tummy! Since I started this little trick, my stomach issues have decreased!! 🙂

Enjoy!

Image

2 coats Urban Outfitters Blue Velvet as my base.

Polishes Used for Wave Detailing:

  • Zoya Dream & Crystal
  • Essie On a Silver Platter
  • Julie G White Orchid
